How to use it
- One cohort per line: name, starting users, then users still active in period 1, 2, 3…
- Look for where the curve flattens — that's your core users.
What good looks like
- Curves that flatten (not fall to zero) mean product-market fit.
- Newer cohorts retaining better than older ones means the product is improving.
